El libro nos invita a reflexionar, conocer y a debatir sobre el Conectivismo como nueva teoría de aprendizaje en la nueva era digital. George Siemens, junto con Stephen Downes, han desarrollado en estos últimos años, de manera singular, una nueva teoría de aprendizaje llamada Conectivismo.
El libro electrónico tiene como objetivo:

  1. conceptualizar la conexión y el proceso de Conocer el Conocimiento.

  2. explorar la naturaleza del cambio en el contexto en el cual el conocimiento existe.

  3. exlorar la naturaleza del cambio de las características del conocimiento en sí.

  4. presentar el conocimiento como contexto de juego que requiere múltiples realidades.

  5. presentar un modelo el cual sirva como espacio y estructura a las organizaciones para suplir las necesidades a universidades, escuelas y corporaciones.
